Important Information

Introduction:
In our system design, we provide E911 (Enhanced 911) services to ensure emergency calls are handled appropriately. It is important to note that our E911 services may not function in the same manner as traditional 911 calls due to the mobile nature of our system. This document outlines key considerations and guidelines regarding E911 services for our users.

Location-Based Services:
Our system relies on the location address provided by users during the sign-up process to determine the location associated with their DID (Direct Inward Dialing) number. Users have the flexibility to update their location address at any time through our web portal under the Emergency Contact section. It is crucial to maintain an accurate and up-to-date address to enable effective emergency response.

Limitations of GPS Location:
Please be aware that our E911 services do not support relaying GPS location information to emergency operators. Therefore, it is imperative for users to provide clear and accurate instructions regarding their location when making emergency calls. This includes providing detailed information about landmarks, nearby intersections, or any other relevant details to assist responders in locating the caller.

Preferred Method for Emergency Calls:
In emergency situations, we strongly recommend using the cellular calling feature on your mobile devices as the primary method of contacting emergency services. This allows responders a better opportunity to pinpoint your exact location accurately. While our E911 services are available, using cellular calling ensures the highest level of accuracy when relaying location information to emergency operators.

E911 Database Surcharge:
To maintain our E911 services and the associated database, a per DID number surcharge of $1.50 per month is applicable. This charge ensures the continuous availability and accuracy of our E911 services, contributing to a reliable emergency response system.

Conclusion:
Our system design includes E911 services to enhance emergency response capabilities. Users are reminded of the limitations of our E911 services regarding GPS location relay and are urged to provide clear and accurate instructions during emergency calls. The use of mobile devices’ cellular calling feature is strongly recommended for the best emergency response experience. We know you maybe excited to get your new TV mounted and we are eggar to help. During this time we are taking step additional steps to insure that our safety and yours is first and foremost. We ask you to be courtious and answer a few questions when asked and we will insure that we are meeting all provincial guidelines. 

Hang My TV will also help you install any plexiglass barriers you need to install in your place or business.
